President Mahama to cut sod for Ho Airport today

Ghana’s president, John Dramani Mahama will today, December 2 cut the sod for the commencement of phase two of the Ho Airport project.
The president in September 2014 broke the ground for the 25-million-dollar Ho aerodrome project funded by the Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL)
.
Features of the 1,500-acre land airport would comprise of 1,900 metres runway, air traffic control tower, 1,150 capacity passenger waiting for the area, ultra modern airbus terminal, and automatic fire detection systems.
The project is being executed by Amandi Holding Limited.
Meanwhile, the President will later inaugurate the Volo community Day SHS in North Tongu and also address Chiefs and the people of South Tongu in the Volta region.
He’s expected to round up the day’s activities with a rally at Ashaiman in Accra.
