Aww! Two Garbage Pickers Fighting Over A Garbage - Video

Due to economic hardship in Ghana now, it compelled these two waste collectors to fight over who takes the garbage to throw away.

A friend who was with me during the scene told me he knows the boys and continuing saying, these boys collect garbage especially plantain and cassava peels every day at Atonsu market to dispose of at Mayanka (Kumasi Abattoir) where they sell cattle.

They are paid Gh₵ 1 equivalent to 35 US cent for each sack of cassava and plantain peels they get.

So the boy with no hat went to pick the cassava and plantain peels first. The other boy wearing a hat in the video decided not to allow his colleague to pick the garbage because he is the regular customer at Atonsu market.

Atonsu market is his main OFFICE so God forbid he will allow his colleague to take the garbage. The other boy too said he got there first to hold of the garbage so he too will not allow the Officer in charge of Atonsu market area to also pick up the garbage.

This lead to the fight between them and drawn the attention of many people to the scene. People laugh to the extent that even someone pee on himself. It is very funny and sad too. May God Almighty have mercy on Ghana.
