She hinted that the body art may not permanent, with many fans speculating online that she is simply testing out colours on her skin.

Indeed Ruby herself made light of her latest ink, which has attracted over 160,000 likes on Instagram.

The Australian beauty joked on the post: 'Guys Home Depot is trying to save paper. So now you can order me and I will stand to face your wall until you pick the colour you like.

'I'll even stand to face the wall as you have breakfast and as you're watching TV at night so you can see the colours at different times.

Ruby has secured various movie roles since garnering a legion of fans from American comedy-drama Orange Is The New Black.

She has recently been busy filming John Wick: Chapter Two and xXx: The Return of Xander Cage and wrapped up filming for Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.
