Kumawood renowned actor, Kwaku Manu has joined John Dumelo, Mr Beautiful, Mzbel and others. He has endorsed John Mahama and opposition New Patriotic Party in a new video.
In the video, Kwaku Manu talks about the kind of abuse meted out to Ghanaian Celebrities the moment they make it clear their political leanings or candidate they support. And from there, he indicates that he has chosen John Mahama and the NDC and hopes this does not mean people will stop buying his movies.
Then in a rather dramatic fashion, he showcases the logo of the opposition NPP on the same t-shirt he is wearing saying that’s the best political party.
Drumming home the essence of the short video, the renowned actor pointed out that PEACE is the name of the game, and one's support for a particular party shouldn't result in the casting of aspersions and vitriol.
