A generational thinker is that person who thinks beyond his personal needs; one who is able to sow seeds for the future. A generational thinker is one who plans for at least four lifetimes beyond the time he existed.
When you read the Bible, every blessing of God says it reaches third and fourth generations and it's the same if He curses you. A generational thinker invokes generational consequences. To be a generational thinker, think about the person after you in the decision you are taking. A generational thinker makes sure that those coming after he had it easier, those who will come after him will be better, not worse.
The story is told of one such man in our country, a generational thinker by name Tetteh Quarshie who left the shores of Ghana to Fernando Po (now Bioko in Equatorial Guinea) in 1870.He was not a high or middle-income level worker. He came back with some cocoa beans and he planted his first seeds at Mampong in 1879.
In the year 1893, the country exported its first cocoa and this was just 2 bags. Between 1910-1980 Ghana became the world's largest exporter of cocoa. The cocoa industry became the foundation of our economy. Currently, more than 40% of our export earnings come from cocoa and it occupies about 10% of our G.D.P.
Generational thinkers are not exceptional beings, they are beings with exceptional thoughts
