Well, in as much as Ghanaians hate Shatta
Wale's profane song, wife of Shatta Wale, Michy does not feel that way about
the song and has in an interview with Hitz Fm admonished Ghanaians to focus on
the positive aspects of it.
We are not surprised because Michy once
disclosed in an interview that, she supports her husband in whatever he does,
whether good or bad.
“I love the song. I’m not listening to the
profanity but I’m listening to the rhythm, beat and chorus because they are all
on point.
He was trying to do a blend of African beat and
the dancehall thing together. So far with all the experiments he has done, this
is the best.
I’m not looking at the profanity. You don’t have
to look at the negative side of it but let’s look at the positive.” Michy said.
She added that most Ghanaians can relate to the
song because “WMT” is some everyday language.
Shatta Mitchy joined her hubby on stage at the
6th edition of Tigo Ghana Meets Naija concert, which happened on May 21 this
year at the Accra International Conference to perform the hit song, “Baby”.
