She said she will rate the dress of the Gospel act at the VGMAs 10 over 100.
The Gospel Diva has come under severe public
backlash over the years over her choice of costume for events. Osei in an
interview on Adom TV revealed that the ‘mosquito net’ gown she wore for this
year’s VGMAs cost her $2000 and it was bought in Dubai. In 2012, Osei at the
same VGMAs wore a bra-less dress that got fans bashing and calling her names.
At another event the Gospel Musician became a subject of discussion after her
outfit’s hip-pad got exposed while performing.
Speaking in an interview with Livefmghana.com,
Ms Nancy noted Osei’s dress at the recent VGMAs best fits for a ballroom event.
“She could have gone in for something simple
yet impressive,” she opined. “I think Gifty is a beautiful woman and with her
chosen profession, she needs a style coach. Someone who will help her define
her style, know her body size and check her wardrobe and that is the job of a
style coach.”
According to her, for a music awards night, one
must wear something elegant, very feminine and in a colour that complements
your skin tone, and gives enough comfort for a dance if you feel like it.
“Having a stylist who will just get a dress for
you because it is in vogue or will look nice on you is not enough, it is the
duty of a style coach to help you discover your body’s selling point and would
advice you on the type of clothing in that light.
“I will give her 10 out of 100; I believe that
you can be beautiful without going beyond. She should have considered her genre
of music and dressed appropriately,” Ms Nancy noted.
Born Nancy Adobea Anane, Miss Nancy, was

UK, Ms Nancy is a proud image projection and personal grooming consultant, with
an impressive portfolio to match.
After her secondary education at St Monica’s Girls Senior High, she furthered it by enrolling into the Institute of Business
Management & Journalism in Kumasi.
