Very sad, mother of boy beheaded cries

A mother, Milicent Azzay, whose three year-old boy was beheaded by his 34-year-old father said she is still in a state of shock.

It could be recalled that the 34-year-old man beheaded his 3 year-old son and hanged himself at Ablekuma Pentagon in Accra, Ghana.

The deceased, Philip Dzakpasu according to reports, slit the throat of his son, Kelvin Mawuli Dzakpasu in his sleep on Tuesday.


The cause of his heinous crime according to his land lady may be linked to his constant fight with his estrange wife.

The morning after he killed himself, the land lady said she went to knock on his door for water but no one answered so she was alarmed and called for help.
They forced his door open only to discover the body of the boy covered in blood and Philip hanged in the room.

But the traumatized 23-year-old woman who could not hold back her tears as she recounts how she learned of her child’s death said his husband has been unemployed for some time now and therefore believes that may be the cause of his actions.

She had gone to visit her grandmother at James Town at the time of the incident, described her relationship with her husband, as cordial and cannot fathom why her man should go to that extreme.
