Kwesi Pratt Jnr, Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper described
Nigerian Pastor, Prophet T.B Joshua prophecy as ‘useless’ and 'vague' that
Ghana and Nigeria would likely be attacked by terrorists.
“I am seeing Thursday, Friday, and
Saturday, if I may say Thursday because
these evil people they are very funny. Anything can just happen.
"You will be very shocked to see
what will happen, because when the prayer is going in this direction they attackers
change to another direction,” he said during a live sermon on Sunday April 10
aired on the Emmanuel TV channel.
“I see Thursday, Friday. Pray for these
two nations Nigeria and Ghana over gathering in any way; over attack. I am
seeing attack and that will be in a foreign way. The attack will come not in a
local way.
"So please open your lips and pray
for these two nations for protection,” he added.
But Kwesi Pratt speaking on Adom FM’s
Morning Show, ‘Dwaso Nsem’ Thursday said the prophecy is ‘useless’ and ‘vague’
as the controversial man of God failed to give further details on the attack
and the possible location it could take place.
“It is useless, it doesn’t help us in
anyway, in fact, the only thing these things do is that it causes unnecessary
panic. Why, doesn't God reveal good things or our people only see
negative things?,” he queried on the show.
“When you say Ghana would be under
terror attack, it is vague. Which area in Ghana should we go and protect?
Should we go to Paga or Navrongo or Kumasi or where, we can’t protect
everywhere…,” he said.
“Prophecy is a holy word from God which
is straight forward. This prophecy is not about being a Christian or a Tigare
worshipper. We ought to subject T.B Joshua’s history to analysis,” he added.
The fact that T.B Joshua failed to
prophecy about the stampede in his church when he visited the Ghana branch of
his church, as well as the collapse of his church building in Nigeria, he said
all point to the fact that his prophecies cannot be trusted, Pratt
insisted.
“In this world, you have good and bad
things happening, how come our pastors always prophesy negative things. Are
they saying God never sees good things about us?” he asked further.
Kwesi Pratt further claimed that one of
his friends is refusing to come to Ghana and work because of the prophecy by
T.B Joshua.
In his view, it is better for Ghanaians
to be more concerned about the abuse of various rules and regulations governing
the nation than ‘mere prophecy’ from a man of God which ‘may or may not come to
pass’.
“People abuse sirens even when taking
their children to school…even Sunday mornings, we use the sirens for pastors
and we ought to be more concerned about the breaking of these rules than terror prophecies,” he said.
